Jamal Khashoggi’s death is still a mystery until now. There has been a lot of pinpointing and accusations happening in his case. One of the suspicions is the Saudi crown prince who has been accused of giving an order to murder the journalist, but he denied that he has any involvement in it. But according to Saudi Arabia, the killing of the journalist Jamal Khashoggi should be blamed on a ‘rogue operation.’
However, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has said otherwise. According to him, he will reveal all the information about the killing of the journalist in the parliament of Tuesday. Turkish officials believed that the prominent critic of the Saudi government, Jamal Khashoggi, was killed inside the building of Saudi embassy by a group of Saudi agents. They are claiming that they have proofs to show everyone the truth.
Saudi Arabia officials gave their side of investigation for the first time. They have said that Jamal Khashoggi was killed in a fistfight with a group of Saudi men. 18 Saudi men were detained and for questioning already and was told that they have publicly spread allegations about the killing pointing to the crown prince Prince Mohammed as the mastermind. A direct from Saudi official, Adel al-Jubeir has said that they are firm on finding out the truth and give severe punishment to those involved in murdering the journalist.
But Turkish official has a different statement. Yeni Safak said that there had been a piece of information that the office of the Saudi crown prince has received a four phone call from the embassy after the murder happened. The calls made went to the head of the crown prince’s office, and also a number in the US accordingly.
The journalist was last seen entering the embassy of Saudi in Istanbul, Turkey. Saudi is now under pressure in explaining what had happened in the death of Jamal Khashoggi. But despite all the accusations thrown to them, the Saudi king Salman and crown prince Mohammed bin Salman made a way and called the son of Jamal Khashoggi to express their condolences to the bereaved family.
