‘The Legend Of Heroes: Trails Of Cold Steel’ PS4 Version On March 26 With Additional Offers


XSEED announced the coming of The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel to PlayStation 4 today. Aside from releasing the remastered version, players can now choose to play with over 5,000 additional English lines which were only available to the PC version.

Coming as a “Decisive Edition,” The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel enable players to follow the activities of Thors Military Academy’s “Class VII.” The PS4 version includes additional offers that according to XSEED are new features that are not yet seen on previous consoles.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel “Decisive Edition” is available for pre-order starting today. Priced at $49.99, and $39.99 for the standalone version via the PlayStation store, the remastered version includes a physical copy compatible to the PS4 console, 50 Mira Replica collector’s coin, and musical selections CD with 21 full-length tracks.

The “Decisive Edition” comes with a SteelBook case that includes separate artworks for front and package designs. It will also include a 10 page exclusive “Alisa Reinford’s Cold Steel Crash Course!” comics which is undoubtedly a treat to all collectors out there.

For the people in the West who previously been seeking for the Japanese voices of The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel, this remastered version comes at dual audio support, enabling the much requested Japanese voices for the games’ myriad of characters. Hence, you get to choose whether you play using the English or the Japanese dub.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel earned a 10/10 rating from Steam with 96% of Google users liking the game. Well, you can’t blame the fact that this game pretty much well structured.

The Trails of Cold Steel is a massive RPG that centers on Erebonia, a prosperous country facing some serious issues. You play as a group of elite high school students traveling to different Erebonian cities and villages to fight off monsters and solve problems. According to Kotaku, the game presents itself as a cross between Suikoden and Persona due to its neat structure and singular rhythm for all seven chapters.
