3 Effective Alternatives To Google Voice

Check out what we think are the best alternatives for Google Voice

After Google released its VoIP service, Google Voice, the product has undeniably become a global leader in the industry. It offers a variety of innovative solutions that can benefit businesses looking for a convenient and affordable VoIP service to replace their common old telephone systems.

This Internet-based phone solution works well with other digital platforms and different devices including desktops, laptops, smartphones, and tablets. You can also get free calling services within the US and Canada, set up number porting easily, and have one phone number to ring all your devices with Google Voice.

This venture has allowed businesses to connect with all relevant people – employees, workers, partners, suppliers, and customers – anywhere, any time.

However, as all other technologies are, Google Voice has its limitations. Even though Google Voice comes with a plethora of features that are suitable for startups, freelancers, and small businesses, this VoIP calling solution has some limitations, including the lack of a direct technical or customer support, no emergency calls, and issues on call quality, reliability, and number porting ability. All these limitations may present problems for the users.

Furthermore, different businesses have different needs. Just because Google Voice works for some, doesn’t mean it will work for you. Besides, as a business owner, you should be able to identify which service provider can help you the most.

  1. I have been using iPlum as an alternative to Google Voice. It was refereed to me by a coworker who has a small business on the side. The thing I like about iPlum is that you can create Auto Attendant and extensions on a number and use that as 2nd line on your mobile phone. It is very cost effective and has lots of other new features for very low prices.
