One of the songs which peaked the Billboard top 100 last June 1999 was I want it That Way. All of us have a list of things that we want to get out of life. Unfortunately, as the saying goes, life is unfair and  we cannot get everything that we want. But sometimes, we can get lucky.

Fans of Backstreet boys get what they want which was the band’s reunion after two decades. Last Jan 23, They released their newest album DNA which was their first album  in five and a half years. On the next day, They proved that they are definitely  bawk by performing as chickens in a comedy musical segment with Jimmy Fallon. They clucked out a rendition of their hit, Everybody (Backstreet’s Back) with matching dance moves.

The band is composed of  A.J. McLean, Howie Dorough, Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson and Brian Littrell. They became popular during the early 90’s. They sold billions in concert tickets and more than 130 million albums worldwide. 1999’s Millennium album sold 30 million copies while 2000’s Black & Blue Album sold 24 million copies.

Some of the bands best hits which topped the billboard hot 100 list are Quit Playing Games (With My Heart),Everybody (Backstreet’s Back), All I Have to Give, I Want It That Way ,Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely, Shape of My Heart, Incomplete, Larger Than Life and More Than That.

Following Y2K, The band’s music was continually supported by die hard fans but their singles are placed lower in the charts until they were not included in it anymore. Consequently, Their album sales diminished.

For the past ten years, the boys are gradually making a revival. Some members starred in Zombie Western together with NSYNC. The boys are appreciative of their fans for helping their music survive the test of time. Their supportive fans have grown up together with them and are now listening BSB songs with their children. It seems the boys made the right-back this time. According to Industry Forecasters, their new album DNA might be their first number 1 album in 18 years. And the boys announced earlier that they are going to have a world tour to promote this album further.
