Olympus finally unveils their newest camera, the OM-D E-M1X. Weeks before their official launch, Olympus has been giving hints and some teasers on their latest product. But now, it has come to grace our eyes with sparkles and Olympus is very proud to introduce the OM-D E-M1X to you, and here’s why.

OM-D E-M1X is the type of camera that professional photographers are waiting for. With its lighter weight alone and APS-C mirrorless compared to SLR that is used in their profession, they will never go wrong in purchasing this fantastic device! Although it is only 2 pounds different compared to other cameras, it is still a big deal for users as they do not need to bring a lot of stuff with them because of its mirrorless feature!

Aside from those spectacular features, OM-D E-M1X has a 20.4mp sensor, a two TruePic VIII image processors that allow the camera to start almost at once, and at the same time, gives power to the new features of the camera. OM-D E-M1X also has a vertical grip for convenience purposes like changing from portrait to landscape when taking a picture.

Having 7 stops of stabilization in a camera is a significant advantage for photographers because even on a 5.5 distance, the quality is still impressive. Its autofocus has a 121-point autofocus system and has a back up of up to 60 fps high-speed continuous shooting with autofocus and automatic exposure locked, and up to 18 fps continuous shooting with AF/AE enabled. Another plus superb feature for the camera is its extra room extension for additional battery! How cool is that!

According to Olympus, OM-D E-M1X has a similarity with their OM-D E-M1 Mark II. But even though they have the said similarity, for sure, they also have their strength of features that make each of them unique. With that, Olympus is still planning to sell OM-D E-M1 Mark II alongside their upcoming OM-D E-M1X. While OM-D E-M1 Mark II mode only grabs 14 frames buffered, now the new OM-D E-M1X has more than doubled it up to 35 frames. Without ending its great features, they have also improved the thermal dissipation of the camera to avoid overheating.

Olympus’ OM-D E-M1X is expected to be released in the market by the end of February. The price of the new camera will be around $3,000 or AU$4,500 for the body.

There are lots of compliments to say for the new OM-D E-M1X. But we will leave everything for you to find out and experience its greatness and power. So go grab yours soon!
