The death of the critic journalist Jamal Khashoggi has been a mystery to everyone as to how he died.
The crown prince of Saudi Arabia has also denied any knowledge about the journalist’s death. Because of this incident, Saudi Arabia has been put in under pressure from close allies.
President Donald Trump gave a statement that Saudi being blamed about the case is guilty until proven innocent. The US President has talked to the Saudi crown prince over the phone to tell President Trump that he completely does not have any involvement in the death of the journalist and has already started their investigation and assured fast and complete investigation to have an answer in the death of Jamal Khashoggi.
An unnamed Turkish official said that the investigation of the Istanbul Saudi consulate has shown that Jamal Khashoggi was really killed. The Turkish president even said that there had been pieces of evidence that there are toxic materials inside the office. According to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the area where Jamal Khashoggi had seen alive has been repainted. Erdogan told reporters as well that the police found some toxic materials inside the consulate and a hint that some areas of the building have been repainted. There has also been news that the Turkish security sources have a voice record evidence pointing to the journalist’s murder.
The said journalist has last seen alive at the consulate last October 2. Saudi Arabia denied the allegation that they are involved in the death of the journalist and said that he left the office unharmed.
US President Donald Trump said that the royal family of Saudi Arabia is being judged unfairly of the journalist’s case that puts them in the hot seat. He even made a comparison of the trial of Brett Kavanaugh, who was now part of the Supreme Court in the US. He was accused of sexual abuse during high school by Christine Blasey Ford and other women who claimed he abused them as well.
It was said by an unnamed source that what happened with Jamal Khashoggi is a result of a wrong interrogation that leads to his death.
