Princess Eugenie And Jack Broosbank Tied The Knot

Another royal princess tied the knot!

Princess Eugenie, the ninth in line to the throne is now married to his long time partner Jack Broosbank. Their wedding was held at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle together with their families and friends. This is also the same church where Prince Harry and Megham Markle got married last May.

There are about 850 visitors who celebrated in their union which includes celebrities like Cara Delevingne, Robi Williams accompanied by his wife, and other popular celebrities that are friends with the bride and groom. Also present at the ceremony are the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Princess Eugenie, 28, and Jack Broosbank, age 32 met in Switzerland in 2010 when they were skiing. They got engaged last January of this year where Broosbank proposed in Nicaragua giving the princess an oval-cut Padparadscha sapphire that is set in a gold band with diamonds surrounded on it.

The beautiful wedding dress of Princess Eugenie was designed by Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos who were the founder of British label Peter Pilotto. The design of the wedding dress was personally requested by the Princess which shows the scar at her back  that she had to correct her scoliosis when she was 12. It featured a neckline folding around the shoulders to a low back that drapes into a flowing full-length train. She chose not to wear a veil to show her back.

The stunning Greville Emerald Kokoshnik Tiara was lent to her by Queen Elizabeth. It is made by Boucheron in 1919, featuring brilliant and rose-cut diamonds, pave set in platinum, with six emeralds on either side.

The entourage of the bride and groom are all adorable. The children of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are also part of it. Prince George as pageboy while Princess Charlotte as bridesmaid. Princess Eugenie’s maid of honor is her sister Princess Beatrice while the best man of Jack Broosbank is his brother Thomas.

After the ceremony, the party will be held at the York family home, the Royal Lodge, in Windsor Great Park.

Best wishes to the newly wed!
