Sad News for Gina Linetti’s Followers!

Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 6 is out on NBC, and Chelsea Peretti has released the bomb! Brooklyn Nine-Nine, created by Dan Goor and Michael Schur is an American police television sitcom which first appeared in September 2013 on Fox.

The show goes around a team of detectives, starring Andy Samberg as Jake Peralta a ‘genius detective’ along with its ever supporting castsMelissa Fumero as Amy Santiago (Jake’s long-time crush who eventually became his girlfriend turned in to wife). Andre Braugher asCaptain Raymond Holt, Terry Crews as Terry Jeffords, Stephanie Beatriz as Rosa Diaz, Joe Lo Truglio as Charles Boyle, Dirk Blocker as Michael Hitchcock, Joel McKinnon Miller as Norm Scully and Chelsea Peretti as Gina Linetti.

Finally, after speculations on getting dropped for season 6, they’ve made their way to NBC although bringing sad news to all Brooklyn Nine-Nine fans today. Chelsea Peretti who plays Gina, posted on her twitter account about her leaving the Nine-Nine. She tweeted:
“B99 fans. Hiiiiiiii. Chelsea Peretti, here. I won’t be doing a full season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine in Season 6. But that doesn’t mean I won’t ever be back, winky face emoji, heart emoji. I want to thank you for the hours you spent watching Gina be Gina: confident, idiotic-but-smart, pithy, and infused with rhythm and cell-phone radiation.”

She even got a reply from her co-cast, Joel McKinnon Miller saying “Things aren’t the same around here. They say change is good. Not so much this time. Miss you. <3 you.”

Though there were numerous times as to when her role in the show signaled that it ‘might’ end soon since she gave birth to a Boyle baby.
Her tweet has now reached a total of 11.6 K retweets and 91.3 K likes. This proves to show how her fans from all over the world love Gina Linetti!

Dan Goor, the show’s co-creator said”While it’s sad to see a member of the family leave, we are so proud of Chelsea and excited for what she does next,” “I know for a fact this isn’t the last we’ll see of Gina Linetti.”
