Trump to Support Kavanaugh Despite Allegations

The 2018 United States elections will take place mostly on Tuesday, November 6, 2018. As this Day is fast approaching, voters want to know the truth behind allegations on Kavanaugh. In a news report, Kavanaugh faces questioning on a 1985 bar brawl at Yale which he was accused of throwing ice at a customer after attending a UB40 concert, and since then, allegations from the past have sprung up left and right.

On Thursday after the federal judge appeared before the Senate Judiciary, Christine Blasey Ford, a research psychologist, testified that Kavanaugh attempted to rape her when the two were teenagers in the early 1980s although denied by Kavanaugh.

An additional claim has been made by another accuser, Deborah Ramirez, stating that Kavanaugh exposed himself to her at a dormitory party which also happened in the 1980s. Since these women have spoken, their testimonies have raised a level of awareness in the rights of women.

Kavanaugh and his team have been aware and prepared of these even before it went on the press. These allegations on attempted rape may disqualify the supreme court nominee from the bench after vehemently denying sexual misconduct in the testimony to the Senate last week declares senator Jeff Flake.

Meanwhile, over 1,500 protesters urged the Republican senator to vote “no” on Kavanaugh when he appeared at a public event in Boston on Monday. The senator suggested that the FBI should make sure of any “current, credible allegation.” He also indicated that “If there’s evidence that comes back that corroborates Christine Ford’s story, then all of us will look at it that way.”

Despite the allegations on Kavanaugh, Trump have released his words on his defense and managed to call him “a fine man.” He said that he supports a ‘comprehensive’ investigation on Kavanaugh saying that it is a good thing and demanding it to be done quickly.

Trump even emphasized that it is an unfair situation for Kavanaugh’s family to go through compared to him, saying that it even feels like it is part of his job description to handle this kind of weight. These allegations might not have any credibility according to the president.
