Three people were arrested outside of Taylor Swift’s Rhode Island home after they allegedly threw beer bottles at her security guards.
The Westerly Police Department confirms to E! News that the incident took place at Swift’s home on Saturday, Jun. 14, at 7:43 p.m. Officials responded to the area after receiving a report that three suspects were throwing beer bottles onto the property from the neighboring east beach.
When officers arrived at Taylor Swift’s estate, they spoke with a security guard who stated that two males and one female threw beer bottles onto the property and were flipping him off. The security guard told police that all three suspects were still on the beach.
The altercation was caught on video by one of the security guards, who used his cell phone to film the incident.
However, Mr. Kading insists this was not the case and they were “not flipping off anyone, they were simply throwing up the peace sign like Taylor does in her ’22’ music video.”
Officers arrested all three; Michael Horrigan, 29, Tristan J. Kading, 28, and Emily E. Kading, 26 all of Stonington Conneticut. They were taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct.
They were later released on promises to appear in court.
Swift wasn’t home at the time of the incident.
Police have made two trespassing arrests on Swift’s property in the past year.
In March, Massachusetts man Daniel P. Cole was charged with trespassing and disorderly conduct. He claimed that Swift had invited him to visit her.
