Ke$ha’s Eating Disorder Could Have Killed Her, According to Mom in People Interview

Kesha Eating Disorder

Ke$ha announced that she was entering rehab for an eating disorder early this month.

On January 4, Ke$ha announced on Facebook: “I’m a crusader for being yourself and loving yourself but I’ve found it hard to practice. I’ll be unavailable for the next 30 days, seeking treatment for my eating disorder … to learn to love myself again. Exactly as I am.”

Her mother, Pebe Serberg told People Magazine in an exclusive interview that before entering treatment for anorexia and bulimia, Kesha 26 years-old “almost died.”

“I’ve watched my beautiful, self-confident, brilliant daughter be berated and ridiculed for her looks and weight to the point that she almost died,” Sebert says.

“The doctors told me her blood pressure and sodium levels were so low, they’d never seen it that low except with someone who’d had a heart attack or stroke. They said it was a miracle she hadn’t already dropped dead on stage.”

Sebert told People, Ke$ha had been battling body image issues since middle school, but got worse after she signed with producer Dr. Luke and former manager David Sonenberg, when she was just 18.

“One time on a conference call, Sonenberg was screaming, ‘You need to lose weight! I don’t care what you do… Take drugs, not eat, stick your finger down your throat.’

“Ke$ha was just weeping. She drove around afterward thinking about killing herself,” Kesha’s mom went on to tell People in the interview.

“Dr. Luke has just always been very disrespectful about her weight. He’d say it in certain ways, like ‘Why don’t you try running?’ She was doing everything and not getting thin fast enough, and that’s when she first became bulimic.”

Sebert also told People Magazine about the days leading up to her daughter’s decision to check into rehab. “She called me and admitted how much she’d been throwing up, and I just said, ‘Okay.’ I called some centers and Ke$ha agreed to talk to them and liked what they said. She basically cried until we got there three days later.”

Dr. Luke and David have denied Sebert’s claim about Kesha’s weight issues.

Luke said in a statement: “It is unfortunate that at a time Ke$ha is suffering immensely and trying to heal at a treatment centre, her mother is taking this approach with the media. I give Ke$ha my utmost support and well wishes for a quick return to health.”

Sebert went on to say, “At this point, she doesn’t care if she ever makes a record again. She just wants to be healthy and happy.”

Bill Cosby Has Never Been Visited By His Wife In Jail

But that’s exactly how he wants it to be.

Bill Cosby has been in prison for the last nine months, and he only received his representative as a visitor — and not even his family. But that’s precisely how he wants it.

The disgraced comedian, who has been in prison since September, doesn’t want his wife and family to see him as a prisoner, Andrew Wyatt said.

Andrew Wyatt is Cosby’s legal representative and spokesperson, and for the last nine months, he is the only one who has visited convicted America’s Dad in prison. “He feels that when he left home, he left home the day of the sentencing as Bill Cosby, not as NN7687, the number they have given him, and he wants his family to see him in that light, not in the light of a prison uniform,” Wyatt said.

Cosby is detained at SCI Phoenix, a maximum-security state prison in Pennsylvania to serve for a three to ten-year prison sentence and has never since seen his family after his sentencing. However, Wyatt said that the comedian had received message of encouragement and support from his pals from the entertainment industry including Quincy Jones and Spike Lee.

“He views it like you’re going to war and you’re not going to see your friends and family,” the spokesman said. “You have to abide by the rules.”

A family in prison?

Amidst not seeing his family in prison, Cosby seems to found a new family among the inmates who he talks to every day. Wyatt said that the reviled Cosby has become “very popular in prison.” He has been giving speeches and lectures to inmates for topics ranging from fatherhood to drugs to life.

Cosby is reportedly giving lectures to inmates for four times a day with an audience of around 100 prisoners per address. Cosby preaches about re-bonding with kids after the prisoners get out of prison and how drugs can destroy life. He is also offering tips and suggestions on how to stay clean.

“Mr. Cosby, roughly three months ago, had been requested by several inmates to come and speak at some of their support groups, and he debated about it and decided to take them up on their offer,” Wyatt said. “One group that he consistently speaks to is a group called ‘Man Up.’ These are guys that are going to be paroled in a few months, and he is talking to these guys because a lot of them have been in prison… and they are afraid of going back to (their) communities.”

“They viewed him as their father figure. To them, he is America’s dad,” Wyatt added.

Wyatt claims that inmates have grown close to the comedian, and some of them revered him for being “fatherly.”

“He’s extremely popular,” Wyatt said. “Some of them come up to him and want just to talk and want to talk about various things like ‘The Cosby Show’ and (other celebrities).”

“’Mr. Cosby is educating these men on how to remove the ‘d-i-s’ from disadvantage and recognize that they have a second chance when they get parole, they get to be better fathers, great community activists,” Wyatt added.

Cosby was sentenced in prison for drugging and sexually harassing a female basketball athlete, Andrea Constand, back in the 2014. The actor has vehemently denied these allegations and appeals are being processed to overturn the court’s decision.

Rehab classes not going to happen

He will be eligible for parole in three years if Cosby were to attend rehabilitation classes for violent sexual predators, but his rep is saying that that is not going to happen.

“He feels that this is how they get inmates to confess to a crime they did not commit because they force them to go to these sorts of classes,” the spokesman said, adding, “[H]e’s willing to sit there the entire ten years rather than attend that course.”

Aside from the Constand case, Cosby is also facing a rap sheet of sexual abuse allegations from around 60 women in his seven decades of a fruitful and successful career. A currently on trial case is that of Chloe Goins who alleges that alleges that the previous disgraced the Medal of Honor recipient has drugged her during a party at the Playboy Mansion in 2008. She added that she awoke with a sticky feeling in her body as if she was licked in different sensitive parts.

Andrew Wyatt: Bill Cosby Prison Version Of ‘America’s Dad’

Bill Cosby is giving the best performance of his life … in prison.

For seven decades of his glorious career, Bill Cosby is known as the “America’s Dad” until he got sent to prison early this week for drugging and sexually assaulting a woman in a party. But it seems like Cosby is on his way to reclaim the title given to him on the virtue of his role the hit TV show, The Cosby Show.

According to his representative and spokesperson, Andrew Wyatt, the reviled Cosby has become “very popular in prison.” He was said to have been giving speeches and lectures to inmates for topics ranging from fatherhood to drugs to life.

Cosby is reportedly giving lectures to inmates for four times a day with an audience of around 100 prisoners per lecture. Cosby preaches about re-bonding with kids after the prisoners get out of prison and how drugs can destroy life. He is also offering tips and suggestions on how to stay clean.

Furthermore, he is providing tips and techniques on how to get a job once they are released, and he trains them for interviews. His audiences are members of the group “Man Up,” an organization of prisoners who are set for parole. He talks life lessons to them, keeping out of trouble and not getting locked up again.

Wyatt said that he has been doing this for the last three months.

One reason why many people go to his lectures is that they are filled with comedy (because he is a comedian; a successful one at that) and with a “fatherly” vibe.

“He’s extremely popular,” Wyatt said. “Some of them come up to him and want just to talk and want to talk about various things like ‘The Cosby Show’ and (other celebrities).”

Wyatt also added that Cosby is doing well inside prison. He said that since the comedian lost weight, he is now looking better. Previously,  Bill Cosby said that his time in prison is an “awesome experience.” However, amid these remarks, he likened himself to as a political prisoner like the late Nelson Mandela.

“I now have a temporary residence that resembles the quarters of some of the Greatest Political Prisoners – Martin Luther King, Jr., Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, Randal Robinson, and Dr. Benjamin Chavis. I stand upright as a Political Prisoner, and I Smile,” he said.

While prison seems welcoming to Cosby, the people outside are not. A recent Father’s Day tweet from Cosby has raised many eyebrows as the disgraced actor called himself the “American Dad” with many saying that he doesn’t have the moral ascendancy to claim that title anymore.

“Hey, Hey, Hey…It’s America’s Dad…I know it’s late but to all of the Dads… It’s an honor to be called a Father, so let’s make today a renewed oath to fulfilling our purpose —strengthening our families and communities.#HappyFathersDay#RenewedOathToOurFamily,” Cosby (or his team) posted on Twitter.

When asked for comment regarding the tweet, Wyatt has a few words to say.

“He feels that it was received very well, and the media just focused on negative comments. As he always states, it’s called journalistic malpractice and bullying. The media isn’t going to focus on anything positive that people say about him on social media.”

Cosby was sentenced to three to 10 years for drugging and sexually assaulting the ex-basketball player, Andrea Constad in 2014.

But this is not the first of his exploits. More than 60 women have accused him of vile, disgusting, and inhumane crimes; drugging minors, sexual assault, pedophilia, sexual battery, and many more.

Only a few of these cases have gone to trial though. These crimes are not new; they have been committed across five decades of Cosby’s Pax Romana. Following his conviction, he was stripped of his praises, ousted from Oscar’s Academy. His honorary degrees rescinded, his medals taken back.

‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ Will Have Two Post-Credits Scenes

Published

on

The Spider-Man: Far From Home movie will have not just one, but two post-credit scenes that its audience can look forward to after watching the film.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has cultivated the concept of mid-credits teasers to hook the audience from one Marvel movie to the next. The production house also uses it to help stitch stories together—a concept that helped create the Infinity saga, and make Marvel one of the highest-grossing production houses in the world.

However, with the end of Marvel’s Phase 3, fans were disappointed to discover that the production house did not provide any form of teasers up until the theater screen turned black and all the lights were turned on. It was a rather dramatic and appropriate marketing strategy since Avengers: Endgame marked the end of the Infinity saga.

Fans speculated if that was the last time Marvel was going to introduce post-credits scenes in its movies. Fortunately, it is confirmed that they’re bringing it back with Spider-Man: Far From Home—Marvel’s return after Endgame.

We Got This Covered reported that a leak was released a month ago that helps predict what the two post-credits scenes will consist. Particularly, the sequence will already tease about the next Spider-Man movie and “introduce the Sinister Six, with Vulture and Scorpion returning and Mysterio joining the team. It may even introduce David Morrissey as Norman Osborn.”

Furthermore, the second teaser would include a comedic bit to help make audiences leave the theater with a smile on their face. “For instance, Spider-Man: Homecoming concluded with Captain America giving us a tongue-in-cheek lecture about the potential pitfalls of patience.”

Marvel fans will not need to wait far longer for Far From Home since the movie will be releasing a few weeks from now. Far From Home will see the usual cast altogether including Zendaya,  Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, Samuel Jackson, andJake Gyllenhaal.

Peter Parker (Tom Holland) and his classmates will be traveling to Europe on a study abroad trip for the summer, which Nick Fury abruptly interrupts to ask Spider-Man’s help in saving the world from possible threats against Elementals. In the process, Peter will be working alongside Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) and help Parker’s character have a deeper understanding of his hero-always-saving-the-world persona.

Jon Watts, the director of Spiderman: Far From Home, told Fandango how the events in Endgame will significantly play in the movie. He said, “In classic New York style, everyone is just moving on and getting on with their daily lives. Ya know, half the people that disappeared are now back, so let’s move on.”

There’s also the possibility of seeing the fallout after Endgame, where everyone disappeared apparently aged five years without them noticing and how that will affect their passport applications and the like as Watts described.

Moreover, Watts said in an interview, “Nick Fury is playing catch-up. He disappeared for five years and the world changed dramatically in his absence, and here he is trying to put together a new team,” where “Spider-Man and Mysterio are being recruited to tackle this threat of the Elementals. That’s what Nick Fury does, but now things are crazier than usual.” This could probably mean that a new set of Avengers–probably with a different name–is in its early days.

Interestingly, Jake Gyllenhaal will be introducing the multiverse to the MCU with his character Mysterio. The multiverse was previously featured in Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse—an animated movie that involved different kinds of spider-mans from different realities such as a spider-woman, a cartoon, and even a silent black and white noir version, to name a few.

In other reports, Tom Holland even expressed how he would appreciate working with former Spider-Man actors such as Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield.

“Of course I would love to make a movie with those guys, it would be so cool! It would be amazing, it would be really, really cool. And it’s something that the fans really want. So whether Marvel and Sony decided to do that, it’s up to them. It’s not up to me, I can’t walk in like ‘Kevin [Feige], this is what we’re doing on the next one.’ But it would be really awesome,” Holland said.
