US F-22 Fighter Jets Sent to South Korea for Military Combat Against North Korea

North Korea Nuclear

North Korea and South Korea have a long history of high tension between each other that has been made public to the whole world. The attempts to settle peace between the two countries seem to just be minor speed bumps for the countries.

The United States looks to be getting involved in the mix with a sort of peacemaker mentality in mind. Over this past weekend the US sent a group of F-22 fighter jets to South Korea to join in military exercises. The main point in doing this is to attempt to eliminate the serious threats North Korea.

Also during the weekend North Korea’s official news agency KCNA mentioned that the country has entered into a state of war with its neighbor South Korea.

“As commander-in-chief of the armed forces, I will trust the military’s judgment on abrupt and surprise provocations by North Korea,” South Korean President Park Geun-hye said in a statement.

Meanwhile on the US side of things, a statement was issued to inform people of why they were sending these fighter jets to Korea and what their main intentions are as a nation.

“The exercise, is being called Foal Eagle and it is meant to reinforce the U.S. commitment of its most advanced capabilities to the security of the Republic of Korea,” The U.S. military command in South Korea said in a statement.

The US military command also went on to mention that North Korea will achieve absolutely nothing by their ill-advised threats and provocations. Also that because of their actions the US believes North Korea will isolate themselves even more if they continue with their threats, which will ultimately undermine the international efforts of trying to insert peace and stability in Northeast Asia.

It is not clear if a recent comment from North Korea’s Kim Jong Un is a direct result of what the American’s said in their statement about his country, but Kim Jon Un stated that he wants to put the US and South Korea into the red hot iron pot of hell as early as possible. To go along with this he was also quoted as saying he wants to “Set the US straight” in which he had a detail chart of American cities targeted for bombings according to NBC.

Things sure look to be a bit shaky over in Northeast Asia with no signs of improvement.

The United States has sent two F-22 stealth fighter jets to South Korea to join Seoul forces in military exercises after North Korea warned the Korean Peninsula has entered “a state of war.”

A Pentagon spokesman confirms to Fox News that the F-22 Raptors were deployed to Osan Air Base in South Korea from Japan on Sunday to support ongoing U.S.-South Korean military drills.

“This exercise has been planned for some time and is part of the air component of the Foal Eagle exercise,” spokesman George Little told reporters Monday.
