Britney Spears may be relocating to Las Vegas if rumors are true.
The rumors have been going around since Britney Spears announced that she was stepping down as a judge on Simon Cowell’s show, The X Factor.
Spears announced she was quitting after one season of The X Factor on Jan. 11. “I had an incredible time doing the show and I love the other judges and I am so proud of my teens but it’s time for me to get back in the studio,” she said in a release at the time. “Watching them all do their thing up on that stage every week made me miss performing so much! I can’t wait to get back out there and do what I love most.”
While no official statement has been released by Britney Spears’ move to Las Vegas, she tweeted to Hannah Spears “I don’t think so honey #VivaLasVegas.” after Hannah Spears asked “are dogs allowed to gamble in vegas? Gonna cash all my bones in for chips.”

“We are in deep negotiations and I’d be shocked if it didn’t happen. Hoping to have a deal done very soon,” said Spears’ manager, Larry Rudolph, in a statement to E! News.
It’s said that she is trying to decide between two rival casinos. Though a rep for Caesars Entertainment recently shot down rumors. Representatives from Caesars spoke to Buzzfeed and said that the hotel “is engaged with a number of today’s top artists in discussions regarding headlining residencies at our venues in Las Vegas,” and is “always interested in having artists with the caliber of Britney Spears performing at our theaters.”
Another venue that is said to be a possible site for a Spears show is Planet Hollywood’s 7,000-seat PH Live theater, managed by Base Entertainment. A source in Vegas told BuzzFeed, “the nail was put in the coffin of that deal when hypnotist Marshall Sylver announced he would kick off an open-ended residency on March 19.”
“There was one definite offer for Britney in Las Vegas. A second one followed when the news broke,” a second Vegas source said.
It was previously estimated that her Las Vegas deal could be worth well over $100 million for a three-year commitment. That is, once she has chosen between the two casinos and sealed the deal.
An official announcement is expected to be made by Britney Spears in the next few weeks.
If the Las Vegas move does happen for Britney Spears, she will be following in the footsteps of performers like Celine Dion, who is set to earn $100 million in a three-year deal inked with Caesars Palace last year.
