Coachella Lineup 2013 Complete List Announced, Tickets On Sale Jan 29

Coachella Lineup

Coachella is one of the biggest summer music events for music lovers as well as one of the toughest tickets to get for the length of show you’ll be attending.

Coachella sees around 65,000 music fans in a day at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California with live music experiences from rock, hip-hop, electro, indie, and so on.

Last year’s Coachella 2012 tickets for weekend one were sold out in 40 minutes. When people tried to purchase tickets through the website, they were¬†receiving¬†a standby page.

Coachella 2013 tickets go on sale January 29 at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT and are going for $349 for general admission and $799 for VIP. No layaway options this year, either.

Last May, a bulk of tickets were already sold. Those interested in attending the first weekend must also commit to purchasing a shuttle pass. During the Advance May sale, a wristband and a shuttle pass went for $399. Three-day wristbands for the second weekend will start at $349 and VIP options are available for $799 and up.

This year’s lineup looks to be as impressive as last years, but Coachella will have a big shoe to fill with the Tupac hologram appearance.

In 2012, Coachella doubled their crowd by expanding into two weekends, and added a third day to the Stagecoach festival. The aggregate attendance at the desert festivals passed half a million for the first time, reaching 650,000.

The dual Coachella’s grossed more than $47 million, according to LA Times, the highest box office total ever for a festival. The industry trade reported that more than 80,000 passes were sold for the first Coachella weekend in 2012 and about 77,000 were sold for the second.
