Taylor Swift is known for incorporating her breakups into her song writing, but also gets mocked and joked about it around Hollywood.

According to RadarOnline, who spoke with one of Taylor Swifts close friends, all the jabs are beginning to take a toll on her emotionally and she’s began to wonder who’s really joking and who’s not.

With a string of failed relationships including John Mayer, Harry Styles, Jake Gyllenhaal, Conor Kennedy, Taylor Lautner and Joe Jonas, Taylor Swift has begun to be known as a serial dater.

“At first Taylor just thought it was funny how much interest people had in her love life and she went along with it,” a friend of Swift’s told RadarOnline. “But now she’s the butt of jokes on Saturday Night Live, in the tabloids and on the late night shows. She laughed it off, but the jokes made about her at the Golden Globes got under her skin.”

“The jokes being made about her love life embarrass her, but it’s finally hit home with Taylor,” the singer’s friend continued, adding that she wants to make an effort not to jump into relationships so quickly. In a weird way all the negative press has really opened her eyes and will be good for her!”

Taylor Swift’s friend says that her public reputation is the utmost importance to her and she doesn’t understand how she’s being perceived. “Having a clean and wholesome reputation is super important to Taylor,” the source says.

While her love life may not be a fairytale, Taylor Swift is still able to make her dreams come true. The 23-year old country singer took on the role of Disney’s Rapunzel during a campaign for Disney Parks Dream Portraits.

Taylor says she was ‘honored’ to be asked by Disney to pose as a romantic figure, saying: “When Disney came to me and said we want you to play Rapunzel, I was just so honored. It’s such a wonderful character to get to play, a childhood fantasy come into reality for me.”

The ad for Disney Parks which is called “Where A World of Adventure Awaits” with famously acclaimed photographer Annie Leibovitz, is a spot that features many artists and not just Taylor Swift. The Disney Parks Portraits ad also features Jennifer Lopez, model Gisele Bundchen, Beyonce, and actresses such as Jessica Biel, Julianne Moore, and Scarlett Johansson.
