Bad Lip Reading of NFL Video is Sure to Ease Tension

Bad Lip Reading NFL Video

People over at the Bad Lip Reading channel on YouTube have done it again, only this time to the NFL. Just in time for the playoff’s and approaching the Superbowl in February, NFL watchers can get a goodhearted laugh or at least smile.

After plenty of negative headlines this past year of deaths, violent players, alcohol and drug abuse and long-term injuries to NFL players, the Bad Lip Reading video can ease some tension and take our minds away from all that for about 3 minutes.

If you’ve ever wondered what the NFL players, coaches or the referees are saying when they are all mic’ed up and talking while the camera is directly on them, but can’t be heard, just seen; here’s a more hysterical view into the world without all the bleeping or reading of the lips.

Gabe Zaldivar from Bleacher Report suggests “this needs to be a weekly installment during game-day coverage. I am tired of the incessant mic’d-up athlete segments that barely deliver more than a loud sigh from the athlete and are as close as you can get to useless. Instead, we need bad lip-reading for each week of the NFL season.”

If you’ve never seen the Bad Lip Reading videos from films like Twilight and The Hunger Games or from politicians, you’re in for a treat and probably will be stuck on a marathon of them after this. They are muted and the sound replaced with a seriously bad job or sometimes very real-like lip reading.

Bad Lip Reading NFL video has got more than 1.3 millions views already when it was just uploaded on Tuesday, January 15, 2013. That’s a sure sign that the NFL community needed a tension breaker and a smile.

The Bad Lip Reading NFL video is being featured on YouTube’s front page.

One of the many great moments in the video has Jim Harbaugh yelling at the refs “I want it now! I want cake now!” Or when Tom Brady telling his teammates “I found Fido! I found Fido you guys.”

Even when a reporter asks Adrian Peterson how he’s feeling, he proclaims, “Egg roll, I wish I had a breeze running down my leg. I’d kill for a cookie, stingray, double-sided Scooby Snack. Yeah, we pick our hotel.” How random can that get?

After reading those quotes from the Bad Lip Reading NFL video, if you still don’t believe that you’ll get a laugh from it, watch it for yourself and I bet you will at least smile at one of the lip readings.
