It is only hours away until the Nexus 10 goes on sale to the public. Going to the Google Play page still gives the message that the Nexus 10 tablet will be coming soon! The sales page says, “The Nexus 10 will be available for purchase on Tuesday, Nov. 13th.” What is still being debated and discussed in circles of die hard Google fans & people ready for this year’s biggest tablet release is, what time?
It’s been debated that the time of the release could be in Google’s local timezone, Pacific Standard Time. If the Google Nexus 10 goes on a sale on exactly November 13th, 2012 on Google’s clock it would be 12:00am PST, 2:00am CST, and 3:00am EST. However the actual time is not known and is only speculation. The best way to find out if the Nexus 10 is for sale is to refresh the Nexus 10 Google Play page. You can also currently sign up to be notified by email when the Nexus 10 (16GB & 32GB) becomes available.
For people that have had the chance to beta test the new Nexus 10 inch tablet from Google, they still have not been able to test out it’s Multi-user features or the Lock Screen widgets. This is because Google hasn’t officially rolled out Google Android Jellybean 4.2 publicly yet. It is being rumored at Android Community however that the new update of Android 4.2 is rolling out today, on November 12th, 2012.
One of the biggest features that people are impressed with in the Samsung Nexus 10 tablet are the display specs. This time the Google Nexus tablet beats out the Apple iPad by putting the Retina Display to shame. Apple used to sell it’s iPad as the best display on the market labeling it a Retina Display that only was available in Apple hardware. The Google Nexus 10 display is 10.05 inches of screen space that packs in around 300 pixels per inch. In comparison the Apple iPad 3 & 4 have displays that pack in 264 pixels per inch.
Other specs of the new Samsung 10 inch tablet operating on Jellybean 4.2 are things like a Dual-Core A15 processor, Graphics Processor that is a Mali-T604, Compass, GPS, Micro HDMI and more. For durability and breakage you won’t have to worry much because the Nexus 10 sports Corning Gorilla Glass 2 which is extremely resilient.
Now everyone is waiting and refreshing the Nexus 10 Google Play page to buy either a 16GB or 32GB version, will you be one of the first?
