Bigfoot Video In Provo Canyon, Utah Adds To Sightings

Provo Canyon Bigfoot Sighting Location Map

This time the elusive Bigfoot Sasquatch legend has been seen in the Provo, UT area. The specific area was around an area that two campers were hiking around identified as a location around Squaw Peak & Little Rock Canyon Overlook. You can see the area in question in the map above which shows the wide swatch of mountainous area that is heavy with trees.

The person that released the video is named Beard Card who signed up for a YouTube account on October 30th, 2012. The video was uploaded and shared to the world and has since racked up over 3,000,000 views. There are about three to four different versions of the video which we’ll include below. Some of the big foot videos are enhanced with a slower frame rate and color enhancements to allow you to see the Bigfoot silhouette standing up in the woods.

During the video you can hear the two campers mumbling some muffled exchanges back and forth like, “I can’t see” while filming a dark figure in the woods that is crouched down. One person says, “What’s he doing?” as his breath picked up and he breathed heavier. Beard says, “We’re probably just to close to it, huh?” As the Sasquatch figure stands up and shows it’s arms, head and full figure the camera quickly moves away and the two start running after one person says, “Let’s go.”

Provo Canyon Bigfoot

The whole situation has a Blair Witch Project feeling to it and seems fairly real. In the YouTube description Beard Card says that they ran to the car after it stood up and they left their tent & everything else in the camping area.

In a report on a website called Ringside Report they interview a supposed expert on Bigfoot sightings and a common debunker of the videos. Things that the expert named Mitch Phillips who is a CGI professional ruled out were costumes, other animals, reactions of the people in the woods & video tricks. What do you think, does the video look real?

The raw uncut videos of the Bigfoot Sighting are below:

Provo Canyon Bigfoot Encounter?

We went camping in Provo Canyon (near Squaw Peak and Little Rock Canyon Overlook) and saw some deer up on a hill that we wanted to get a closer look at. On our way up, we thought we saw a bear, until the monster stood up and looked right at us. We ran straight to the car after that, leaving our tent and everything behind. It’s probably all still up there.

We have lots of other videos from our camping trip that day that we’ll post soon, including the deer and hiking up towards them.

Finding Bigfoot- Real vs. Fake Evidence

The bigfoot team explains on Animal Planet how they can tell real evidence from fake. Since only a few pieces of what they deem real evidence exist, it’s fairly easy for them to spot a fake.

I believe in Bigfoot but I cannot believe this is anything more than a typical American Black Bear.

He/she is hunched a bit when standing giving the impression of having shoulders and the angle gives the fore-leg apparent length.

The head is flat like a bear and the nose is tan. If you slow the video you can see it’s nose going into place. that’s not foliage in front of the nose. It’s right ear is that of a bear and not of any purported Bigfoot.

Check a still pic on this. There is no separation of legs like a biped would have when standing. Stand up yourself and you’ll see what I mean.

The size can be as much as seven feet on a large bear. They grow a bit bigger but not much. Seeing it uphill gives the illusion that it is taller than it actually is anyhow.

The illusion of fingers is a bear’s wide paw with claws. Check some images online you’ll see what I mean.

The motion made when turning and standing to investigate the hikers is a typical bear motion. Black bears will stand for several minutes when they’re curious.

The hikers may not have known it was a bear but that is pretty hard to mistake.

I search for Bigfoot and know bears. I’m not plugging my site because i’m on a break of undetermined length. I put it here to show I do search for Bigfoot and I do know what I am talking about. I’ve seen many bears in the woods and bears are the most common omnivore around Provo Canyon. Check with the local Forest Service and they will tell you the same.

I would have loved for this to be true but can say this is a bear without question.
