The anticipation and excitement for the new iPhone 5 has been an ongoing affair for millions of iPhone customers and fans across the world. Starting Friday September, 14, 2012 iPhone users and fans have the chance to place a pre-order on their new phone for around $200 with a data plan. It appears to be two perspectives to the iPhone, either you like it or you don’t, there is not really an “I kind of like it” aura surrounding the iPhone. One things is certain and that is Apple has made what they say are new cutting edge technology improvements to their newest gadget, but are people on board with it, or turning away from it.
Let’s take a look into what the iPhone 5 has to offer to the public, for starters the phone comes with Apple’s newest A6 processor which Apple designers say is twice as fast as the previous generation model. Along with this the phone has an outstanding 8 megapixel camera that can take panoramic views, so you can show off your inner photographer in you. When it comes to the vastly popular Siri voice program it may be enhanced greatly by the three microphones built-in to the phone. The size of the phone is not really bigger than the previous installments of the iPhone, but rather longer as it comes in at 4 inches with a retina display. Just like a few other popular smartphones, this iPhone will try to be a speedy device as it will have a 4g LTE wireless network.
“Where they [Apple] are pushing the envelope, and where they remain the one to beat, is on the experiences, features they continue to bring to the consumer,” Gartner Research analyst Carolina Milanesi said.
“While other vendors continue to focus just on the hardware and delivering the speeds and feeds and bigger batteries, apple actually focuses on pulling the operating system, the hardware and what you can consume on the hardware.” Milanesi said
Another feature that iPhone users might like about the new iPhone is the battery life as it has improved to over eight hours of 4G web browsing. There is however one thing that even iPhone users are a little set back on and that is the new connectors the iPhone 5 now requires. Due to the revising of the actual device size the company mentioned that it could no longer have the same USB port used in previous iPhone’s and had to make a slimmer connector for the new phone. Apple designers mentioned in a conference which revealed the device that even though they went with a slimmer connector, they still believe it will be even more efficient than the previous chargers.
The iPhone 5 ships Sept. 21 in a handful of countries including the United States, researchers say that shipments will easily reach 100 countries before the end of the year. Here is a little wow factor for you ladies and gentlemen, before the end of this month analysts have forecast that sales will reach 10 million to 12 million of the new iPhones.

The biggest thing to happen to iPhone since iPhone. Creating an entirely new design meant inventing entirely new technology.
When we envisioned the new iPhone, we landed on a remarkably thin and light design. But it’s nearly impossible to make a device so thin and so light without sacrificing features or performance.
