Samsung has been on the rise for their products over the last couple of years with smartphones, HDTV’s, and Notepads. They have just announced the future release of their newest product the Galaxy Note 10.1. The company unveiled the device back in February, 2012 but did not speculate as to when they would launch the Galaxy Note 10.1 until now. A spokesman for Samsung issued a statement to the press mentioning that the company will be making a “Major” announcement on August 15,2012 which many experts believe will be the launching of the Galaxy Note 10.1 according to CNET.
“The advanced technology and features included in Galaxy Note 10.1 will give users the power to produce, create and customize communications,” The chief of Samsung’s mobile unit JK Shin said in a statement.
The Galaxy note 10.1 went on sale on Monday Aug 5, 2012 but only available in Germany and the United Arab Emirates for now, before it is set to hit the United States markets in the upcoming weeks. Let’s take a look at the new Note 10.1; what really sets it apart from the previous version issues by Samsung is the size and width of this device. The Galaxy Note 10.1 is nearly twice as wide as it’s predecessor and it is close to the size of a regular tablet according to YAHOO.
There are a few settings that you should know about the Galaxy Note 10.1 that has customers eager for its launch.
“The Note 10.1 is practically a new tablet PC that comes with a stylus pen, which the iPad doesn’t have,” Shin said in a statement.
The device is powered by Google’s Android software and features a 10.1 inch touchscreen hence the device name, the 10.1 inch length nearly doubles the size of the older note which was only 5.3 inches. The device just like the old model has a stylish “S” pen which allows users to write and draw on the screen. The screen also can be split in half so that the user may view two programs at once. Unlike its previous version in which there was a dual-core processor inserted into in the device, the new version will have a quad-core processor equipped in the device.
So look for the hot new Samsung Galaxy Note hitting the market with the release date of August 15.
