Pink was hospitalized with severe stomach flu, but that didn’t stop her from Instagramming a picture.
P!nk tweeted a picture of herself in a hospital gown, beanie on her head and an IV in her arm, all with a smile and according to her, it’s all because of the painkillers.
“Maybe it’s cause my mom was an ER nurse all my life- but throw me in a gown and a hook me up to an IV- and I’m a happy girl. Stomach flu sucks but morphine doesn’t,” Pink said on Twitter.
After a few hours of questions from twitter followers, asking why would the hospital give morphine for stomach flu, P!nk returned to Twitter to clear up the confusion she posted and to clarify her joking treatment. Pink Tweeted, “Thanks for all the get well wishes. And no-they don’t give morphine for flu. I might have ulcers again. Because I care too much. It’s a gift.”
Pink’s mother, Judith Moore had worked as a nurse in their hometown of Doylestown, PA throughout the singer’s childhood.
Pink recently revealed that she has cut back on her drinking and smoking since giving birth to daughter, Willow Sage Hart last year.
It’s unclear whether Pink, 32-years old has been released from the hospital, but as we can all guess, she probably wants to be out in time to celebrate her baby Willow Sage’s first birthday on Saturday.
Pink is currently working on her sixth studio album. She has expressed to E! last year that she wants to create other kinds of new material. She also mentioned that her husband Carey Hart and her are very interested in having more kids.
She did make it clear that she’s not planning a children’s album. “I promised my fans I wouldn’t write an album full of lullabies. So I’m swallowing that as we speak.”
