The Voice has become an incredibly popular show in NBC giving vocal performers the chance to prove their abilities. There are four coaches that are celebrities and either are or have been professional singers and performers in the past. The four judges are Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton and Cee Lo Green.
The official winner of The Voice is Jermaine Paul
The Voice 2nd Place: Juliet Simms
The Voice 3rd Place: Tony Lucca
The Voice 4th Place: Chris Mann
The May 8th, 2012 airing will have a two hour finale timeslot. This will be an hour longer than normal to allow them to present the highlights of the entire Season 2 of The Voice and then they’ll present the winners of the voice. The Voice voting results are expected to be revealed near the end of the show as they build the anticipation.
The final singers up for Voice voting are Tony Lucca of Team Adam, Chris Mann of Tream Christina, Juliet Simms of Team Cee Lo and Jermaine Paul of Team Blake. Who won The Voice from the voting results is the question everyone is asking because the fans get to make the decision this time.
Although the celebrity judges like Christina Aguilera get to send people off stage and judge whether they are worthy, this is it. The fans got to vote on Monday night until 10AM EST on Tuesday. The winner of The Voice receives a professional recording contract that will be made with Universal Republic Records and will walk away with $100,000 dollars in cash prize money.
Some fans have complained that on Monday night Christina Aguilera gave Tony Lucca the edge by providing negative views on how he used derogatory lyrics in his song. Tony Lucca performed Jay Z’s “99 Problems” and it seems that this could have created a team to fight for Mr. Lucca. That could give Tony Lucca the Season 2 winner trophy. If Tony Lucca wins The Voice there will probably be a lot of upset fans that voted for other teams because of Ms. Aguilera’s comments on Mr. Lucca. Not matter what happens the winner is still out and it’s airing live on TV with performances from Justin Bieber, Flo Rida, Hall & Oates and Lady Antebellum.
