Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt engaged? While there has been no confirmed reports that this statement is true, a rep for the jeweler says, “I can confirm that, yes, Robert Procop did indeed design an engagement ring for Angelina Jolie, designed in collaboration with Brad Pitt.”
Angelina Jolie’s engagement ring was spotted on April 11, at a private viewing of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s Chinese Galleries. She attended the private viewing with Brad Pitt and their son, Pax.
Robert Procop told The Hollywood Reporter, “Brad had a specific vision for this ring, which he realized over a yearlong collaboration. He wanted every aspect of it to be perfect, so I was able to locate a diamond of the finest quality and cut it to an exact custom size and shape to suite Angelina’s hand. Brad was always heavily involved, overseeing every aspect of the creative design evolution. The side diamonds are specially cut to encircle her finger. Each diamond is of the highest gem quality.”
TVNZ is reporting that the couple are “set to wed at their French home later this year after seven years together and are planning to have their family – including six children, Maddox, 10, Pax, eight, Zahara, seven, Shiloh, five, and three-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne – heavily involved in the ceremony.”
A source told TVNZ, “It’s going to be the definition of intimate and super select, but make no mistake – this is super special and by anyone’s standard the wedding of the century.”
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are said to have signed a prenuptial agreement to protect their fortunes and are planning for the ceremony to be “intimate” with only their closest friends in attendance.
