A woman broke into Simon Cowell’s UK home on Saturday around 10:30pm while he was watching an interview of himself on television.
He had been watching The Jonathan Ross Show which he was interviewed alongside his fellow Britain’s Got Talent judge David Walliams when he heard a loud bang upstairs from his bathroom. His spokesman Max Clifford said, “There was a loud bang and Simon rushed upstairs to find out what was going on. It came from the bathroom so he went in and there was a woman standing there holding a brick. It was a very frightening experience for Simon, who told me it was like something from a horror movie. He was just very lucky that all she had was a brick. She could have had a knife, a gun or any other weapon.”
How did the woman get into Simon Cowell’s home where it’s been said that his property worth £9million is as safe as the Bank of England? Simon Cowell’s spokesman reported, “She had smashed her way in through the window and it was unclear how long she had been there or what she was doing.”
According to one source, at some point during her time in his home, she was lying on Simon’s bed in his bedroom and was in his bathroom.
The woman who broke into Simon Cowell’s home is 29-year old Leanne Zaloumis. She was in custody today after appearing in the dock at West London Magistrates’ Court.
The charge, read out in court, alleges that Zaloumis intended to “inflict grievous bodily harm upon a person therein and at the time of committing the said burglary had with you a weapon of offense, namely a broken house brick.”
Simon Cowell net worth is estimated to be around $320 million and has an annual salary of $75 million.
