Holly Madison explains in the March edition of Shape magazine that she had problems with her weight, after landing the leading role in Peepshow at Hollywood Las Vegas in 2009. She thought she could eat whatever whenever she wanted since she was on stage five nights a week.
“”I thought I could eat what I wanted and just burn it off during the show,” Holly Madison said in the interview with Shape. Holly Madison gained 19 pounds in 18 months. The former Playboy quickly found out that she had to work to keep her body in shape.
After some unflattering paparazzi photos started to appear, she realized she needed to make a change. She explained to Shape, “I didn’t want to wear a bikini, and I began relying on a few tricky poses to look thinner in photos.”
Desperate to lose weight and be back in shape, Holly Madison started to take a weight loss supplement called NV to shed those extra pounds. “NV helped me drop one jeans size in two weeks and increased my energy,” Holly Madison said. She didn’t rely just on the pill to lose the weight she wanted. Holly Madison also increased her agility as a dancer, she started doing Pilate’s and yoga.
On the NV website they state: “NV’s core formula is backed by two clinical studies that demonstrate its incredible weight-loss power. NV contains a new weight-loss complex that helps you reshape your body, losing pounds & inches in just 2 weeks!*”
“In two clinical studies, obese subjects (BMI > 30) consuming two key ingredients in NV lost on average significantly more weight (5.1 lbs and 4.0 lbs) vs. placebo (2.2 lbs and 1.2 lbs) and reduced waist circumference (1.6″ and 1.7″) vs. placebo (0.1″ and 0.3″) in just 2 weeks. Both groups consumed 2000 KCAL/day along with mild exercise” With an ending statement of, “Holly’s results not typical.”
Holly Madison now sticks to a better diet plan. Eating a low-carb diet, replacing bagels with protein bars and fruit, and fast food with grilled chicken and avocado.
The Peepshow star says she feels good now, “These days, I’m slim and fit, and I still have the fabulous curves I’ve always loved!”
