Heather Locklear was taken to the hospital in Southern California on Thursday night after a 911 emergency call from her house. She had been taking Xanax before her sister, Colleen called 911 reporting she “was worried about Heather’s state of mind and was afraid she was going to harm herself because of her drinking mixed with medication.”
When fire department and sheriff deputies arrived at Heather Locklear’s home in Westlake Village, north of Los Angeles, paramedics determined that she needed to be hospitalized for treatment.
Ventura County sheriff’s Captain Mike Aranda said he, “did not know Locklear’s condition but deputies were not investigating.”
Heather Locklear is said to be in “medically stable” condition and her parents are at her side in Thousand Oaks, California. She arrived at 2:30 p.m. and by 8 p.m. was sleeping. In a statement issued by Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center, Bill and Diane Locklear, Heather Locklear’s parents said, “She is in no danger and she’s goign to be just fine and she’s healthy.”
She is expected to be released from the Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center this weekend.
This isn’t the first time Heather Locklear has had to be hospitalized. In 2009, she was under the influence of prescription medication and was driving reckless then was arrested, but pleaded no contest.
Heather Locklear, 50-years old and Jack Wagner called off their engagement in November 2011 just months after announcing it and being together for four years. Melrose Place stars, Jack Wagner and Heather Locklear have been in an on and off romance for those years.
Locklear was previously married to Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora, and they have a daughter together.
