Galaxy Nexus Ice Cream Sandwich Phone Launches With Verizon Promoted Tweet

After months of rumors of when Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) would release the new Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Galaxy Nexus everyone can now have their hands on this new Android device. When looking at available Android phones this phone is said to be the fastest Android phone.  The new Dual core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A9 processor, PowerVR SGX540 Graphics processing unit & multi-touch super AMOLED touchscreen is available as of December 15th, 2011.

Verizon Wireless (NYSE:VZ) is now running a promoted Twitter trend under the #GalaxyNexus which describes the Ice Cream Sandwich cellphone as something you should, “Make it the best gift of the season.” It currently has 44 retweets 23 hours into the Anroid 4.0 promotion.
