Every year there is a cult following of McRib sandwich lovers across the country that await the release of the McRib burger to the public. Last year for the first time, McDonald’s Corp. (NYSE:MCD) decided to release the McRib sandwich at all Micky D’s locations in the United States. This was the first time the McRib could be enjoyed at all McDonald’s locations in America.
It was in November in 2010 last year that the McRib was released, so this year it’s a little early. The McRib will be sold at all United States McDonald locations until November 14th, 2011.
If you miss the Nov. 14th deadline of the McRib in the US you can always skip on over to Germany where it’s sold year round in all McDonald’s restaurants. McDonald’s has learned that in the US it’s good to keep the McRib meal released during special times because it bumps their sales numbers to an exciting level as customers crave it from it’s absence.
The McRib cult isn’t about nutrition, people are in love with the taste. McRib calories & nutrion facts are 500 calories, 22 grams of protein, 44 carbs, 26 grams of fat and 980 mg of sodium. You can get full nutritional details at McDonald’s website.
