Black Eyed Peas to Perform a Free Concert in Central Park

The Black Eyed Peas will play a free concert in New York City’s Central Park this June to benefit the Robin Hood Foundation.  The show has been titled “Concert 4 NYC” and will require tickets to enter.  54,000 will be given away and will be available via an online giveaway while VIP tickets can be purchased.  Interested concert-goers can register on the partnership’s website for a chance to be randomly selected to receive tickets.   The registration will begin in mid-May and there is a four ticket limit for entrants.

The Robin Hood Foundation fights poverty in New York City by finding and funding programs that focus on results.  The foundation’s partnership with the Black Eyed Peas includes funding to build additional Peapod Academies, which were founded by the Grammy-Award winning group.

The ticket purchase option is available through the website as is the option to donate directly to the cause.
