Stella Artois Runs Super Bowl Ad Starring Adrien Brody

Belgian Beer maker Stella Artois unleashed a big time Super Bowl ad featuring Adrien Brody just after halftime. The ad involves Brody serenading a group of women in a 1960’s style Jazz club while they sip the beer.

This is a bit of a surprise move for Brody who was the youngest actor to win the Best Actor Oscar Award in 2002 for his role in The Pianist. Brody nails the number however and the ad will certainly generate buzz for the brand. The ad is part of Stella’s campaign titled “She is a thing of Beauty” which has also received contributions from filmmakers Roman Coppola and Wes Anderson.

While Budweiser and Bud Light ads are a mainstay for the Super Bowl, Stella is attempting to make waves in the U.S. market with the high profile piece. A very popular beer in the UK has had difficulty gaining market share across the pond. Priced as a normal lager in its home country, it is typically priced as a higher end brew in the United States.

  1. beautiful song. and i know good jazz vocals when i hear them. this guy should do us all a favor and cut a jazz cd…. so smooth.

  2. My daughter’s favourite beer, and I thought Brody did a wonder job on this number. Is there a full recording of him singing it somewhere?
