Pensacola Gets Ready For The Great Gulfcoast Arts Festival

Get ready Pensacola, here it comes! On November 5,6 and 7th 2010, Pensacola’s Seville Square will be the place to be for the 2010 Great Gulfcoast Arts Festival. There will be plenty of activities for children and adults.

Nearly 200 fantastic artists will be exhibiting their talents at the festival. There will be painters, graphic artists, sculptors, potters and many other craftsmen showcased at the extravaganza.

There will be a variety of music and dance performances that are sure to entertain everybody that attends.

One of the favorite activities for festival attendees is the Heritage Arts Area. Specialized craftsmen will conduct hands-on demonstrations of some of the trades that made our country great. Some of these include blacksmithing, weaving, spinning, and engraving.

The actual art show will display some of the most innovative pieces as artists compete for a part of the $25,000 prize pool.

A Children’s Art Festival will be taking place as well as a local Student Art Festival. There will be local vendors set up with food and beverages, so be sure to come hungry!

With cool sunny weather in the forecast, it should be the perfect place to go this weekend. Come on over to Pensacola with the whole family and enjoy a fabulous day of art, music and dance.

The Great Gulfcoast Arts Festival is sure to awe and inspire so please come by and support the arts and the Gulf Coast this weekend. You don’t want to miss this one!
