Twitter In Space?

NASA has kept a live session for the followers of the NASA on Twitter. The followers are being asked to attend a special session with one of the NASA astronauts T.J. Creamer.. The session will be conducted at a special even that is being organized at Tames E. Webb Memorial Auditorium at NASA Headquarters, 300 E St. SW, Washington.

Creamer used NASA’s International Space Station’s Live Internet connection when he was in space. Logging on to his Twitter account, Creamer posted updates about his stay in the space and while orbiting he sent live tweets back to earth. Twitter is a social networking site and Tweetup is the informal meeting of the people who are members of this social networking site. This Tweetup, which is being organized by NASA, is a big opportunity for all those who are interested in space science to come and meet face to face with Creamer, who is an astronaut and also people who operate NASA’s Twitter account and other space program personalities of NASA.

Those interested to participate in the event can register themselves online. From those who register for this event, NASA will randomly select 100 people.
