The rules were agreed upon by Dez Bryant and the organization, which went into effect August 23rd as the team returned to Dallas from several weeks of training camp, according to sources. What will be interesting to see is if Bryant will be able to abide the strict guidelines or not. The rules may not appear to be severe to your average person but a lot of times when an individual is told they cannot do something, they immediately want to.
According to sources, some of the “commandments” he must follow are: 1. Thou shall not break the midnight curfew. Team officials must be notified in advance if he is going to miss it. 2. Thou shall not consume alcohol. 3. Thou shall not attend any strip clubs. Also, he can only attend nightclubs if they are approved by the team and have a security team with him. 4. Thou must attend counseling sessions at least twice a week. 5. Thou must have a security team with him. It will be a rotating three-man security team that will have one man with Bryant at all times. 6. Thou must have members of the security team drive him to games, team functions and practices.
