On Sunday night, October 14, 2012 the Brousseau family were fast asleep with their 9 week year old baby asleep in her crib in the nearby room, or so they thought she was sleep. Their normally super obedient dog, Duke sensed something was wrong with the baby and ran into Mr. and Mrs. Brousseau bedroom and jumped on and off their bed several times before beginning to shake uncontrollably.
Duke had never acted like this before, according to the Brousseaus, so they knew something had to be wrong. When they went into their 9-week-old daughter Harper’s room to check on her, she wasn’t breathing.
