68 year old Hollywood director Tony Scott leapt to his death from the Vincent Thomas Bridge around 12:30pm on Sunday. He fell within feet of a tourist boat full of horrified witnesses, who had no choice but to watch as Scott fell to his death. “He landed right next to our tour boat, and many of us saw the whole thing,” says one witness while speaking to TMZ. Many witnesses said they saw Scott climb the fence on the south side of the bridge and leap “without hesitation.” His body was recovered around 3pm, and identified later that day. Police found a note left in his black Toyota Prius with information to contact his wife, and later a suicide note was found in his office, its contents however have not been revealed.
