“Today” show has decided to make a couple of changes to stay competitive as well as to reclaim their number one status. The changes made were to add to their supporting cast as to bring in fresh faces and perspective on the topics they talk about.
The first addition, Savannah Guthrie, became a co-host of the 9 a.m. hour on May 9th of this year. The second and latest addition will be Willie Geist who will officially begin his co-host position of the 9 a.m. hour on November 12th of this year.
Geist will be joined by personalities Natalie Morales and Al Roker during the 9 a.m. hour. He has been a regular with MSNBC’s show “Morning Joe” and is also the network’s host of the 5:30 a.m. Eastern newscast of, “Way Too Early.”
