Miss Pennsylvania, Sheena Monnin had decided to resign from the Miss USA organization because she felt it was rigged.
On Facebook, Miss Pennsylvania posted, “Effective immediately I have voluntarily, completely, and utterly removed myself from the Miss Universe Organization. In good conscience I can no longer be affiliated in any way with an organization I consider to be fraudulent, lacking in morals, inconsistent, and in many ways trashy.”
“I witnessed another contestant who said she saw the list of the Top 5 BEFORE THE SHOW EVER STARTED proceed to call out in order who the Top 5 were before they were announced on stage,” Sheena Monnin wrote on Facebook on Tuesday. “After it was indeed the Top 5 I knew the show must be rigged; I decided at that moment to distance myself from an organization who did not allow fair play and whose morals did not match my own.”
Donald Trump was outraged with this public announcement from Miss Pennsylvania and decided to give her 24-hours to retract her claim about the Miss USA pageant being rigged. Well, former Miss Pennsylvania didn’t apologize so sources say Donald Trump’s lawyers are going to meet to draft a defamation lawsuit against her.

Donald Trump takes legal action against the Miss USA contestant for claiming the competition is fixed.
It doesn’t stop there. Now there has been another Miss USA contestant backing Miss Pennsylvania’s claims. Fox News say they spoke with a Miss USA contestant, who wants to remain anonymous, who says Miss Florida Karina Brez told her she saw a folder with the Miss USA names of the Top 5 finalists all before the Top 15 were announced.
Miss Florida Karina Brez said in a statement, “Backstage during the pageant, I did see a piece of paper with names on it and like most people in such frenetic circumstances, joked that they must be the names of the final contestants. It was a throwaway comment, in the stress of the pageant, and was never meant as fact. The list I saw didn’t even have the eventual winner on it.”
Miss Pennsylvania told the Today Show on Friday that she thinks Miss Florida Karina Brez has changed her story slightly because of fear.
The anonymous contestant is also upset because of the way Miss Pennsylvania is being treated by the Miss USA pageant and Donald Trump. That still didn’t stop her from telling Fox News about Miss Florida seeing the Miss USA Top 5 list. She said, “I saw Florida backstage and she was very, very flustered and upset. I thought it might be because she didn’t make the top 15 cut, but at that point she was able to reveal to me at least four of the five names who went on to be the top girls. She couldn’t remember the fifth because she was so upset. Several of the girls then started hearing through the grapevine about a list; a lot of people were upset.”
A rep from the Miss USA pageant has said in a statement, “The Miss Universe Organization intends on pursuing all of its legal rights and remedies, including monetary damages, against Ms. Monnin for her ongoing defamatory statements.”
“Our role in the Miss USA pageant is to independently tabulate the judges’ votes and verify the results during the live broadcast. The results of the tabulations remain under our control until we present them to the hosts during the live broadcast. In accordance with the rules of the competition, Ernst & Young’s tabulation of the judges’ votes which determined the final five contestants did not occur until after the evening gown competition had been completed,” a rep from Ernst & Young told Fox News.
