On August 24, 2012 the United States Anti-Doping Agency finally decided on a very long and drawn out issue with cycling super star Lance Armstrong as they will strip him of his 7 Tour de France titles, while also banning him from the sport for life.
Armstrong decided not to appeal their decision mentioning that he is just emotionally worn out of proving time after time that he has been clean throughout his career and tired of all the allegations so he decided just to give up trying to make his name clean.
The stripping of his titles and lifetime ban is now a dark stain on the famous bright yellow shirt of not only a cycling great but a hero and role model to youth, and adults all over the country. The USADA may have taken away everything that Lance had worked years for, but in his eyes he will always have those titles, and memories.
