California Earthquake Today

A 5.7 Magnitude earthquake hit Northern California and was felt widely across a the Northern half, according to officials.

The earthquake happened around 8:47 p.m. on Thursday night, and its epicenter was 27 miles southwest of Susanville and seven miles west northwest of Greenville, about 150 miles northeast of Sacramento, and zero feet deep, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The California earthquake was felt in Reno, Nevada, and as far north as San Francisco, and as far south as Sacramento.
