Sinkhole in Chicago Swallows Three Cars and Injures One
A massive sinkhole opened up in Chicago today and swallowed up three cars and injured one person.
Around 5:15 a.m., the sinkhole opened up at 96th and Houston in the city’s Jeffrey Manor neighborhood and two parked cars fell inside, according to ABC Chicago. Shortly after the fire department arrived on the scene, the third car slid into the sinkhole, which closed down both lanes of traffic.
