Jennifer Nettles is pregnant.
Sugarland’s manager, Gail Gellman, confirmed the announcement about Jennifer Nettles and Justin Miller having their first child by saying, “They are thrilled beyond belief.”
The pregnancy news comes just seven months into the couples marriage in Nashville. Nettles and Miller’s wedding was held at a chapel in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee at sunset. Guests included friends, family and Nettles’ band mate Kristian Bush.
Jennifer Nettles is due to give birth to her first child in November which will be around the same time as the couple’s first wedding anniversary.
Jennifer Nettles tweeted today after the announcement of her being pregnant, “Thanks for all the love and well wishes from fans, friends, radio friends and industry friends! Y’all are the best and so supportive! Love!”
Jennifer Nettles husband, Justin Miller is a former model and appeared in the “Want To” music video for Sugarland’s 2006 single. That’s when the two first met each other, but the country singer and entrepreneur husband didn’t start dating until two years before getting married in 2011.
Recently, Jennifer Nettles, 37-years old, confessed to Ladies’ Home Journal that she and her bandmate Kristian Bush have started a healthier diet while on tour. They are bringing along a yoga teacher and a chef to cook healthy meals for them. She said, “Not only is it good for morale, it’s good for our health. In the past we used to eat at whatever venue we were playing. We’d consume a lot of meat on a stick.”
So expect to see that baby belly on Jennifer Nettles this year on Sugarland’s tour. The band is set to tour through the beginning of September.
