Demi Moore has finally changed her twitter handle from @MrsKutcher to @JustDemi. Demi Moore’s Twitter name change happens two weeks after she made her first public appearance after completing rehab.
Demi Moore didn’t want to worry about her Twitter handle in December and said it wasn’t her top priority. “Changing my Twitter name isn’t a top priority right now,” she tweeted to her 5 million followers shortly after their divorce. “Sorry it bothers so many of you. Should I not tweet until I do? Does it really matter?”
To satisfy everyone she tweeted, “By the time I hit 5 mil followers I will have a new twit handle at least a temporary one.”
Demi Moore split from Ashton Kutcher in November and said, “It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton. As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life. This is a trying time for me and my family, and so I would ask for the same compassion and privacy that you would give to anyone going through a similar situation.”
Demi Moore had been hospitalised earlier in the year, following her split from Ashton Kutcher and collapsing at a party in her home.
Demi Moore seems happy with her new Twitter handle. She wrote, “So hard finding a name that was fun somewhat playful and available. So for now it will be @justdemi It could grow on me!”
She then added, “Thanks everyone for your help in finding my new name!”
Since then, she’s been fairly quiet on Twitter, until now. She has been very active on twitter now to promote the Lifetime show The Conversation with Amanda de Cadenet, which she’s executive producer of.
